Adobe Flash
Figure 1
This will be a simple introduction for Adobe Flash CS5 which is an animation software. You can do a simple animation birthday card for your friends ,simple animation to make a tree moves or a girl munching biscuits .Well as you can see above ,it's the screenshot of the software before users choose their own type of platform. For me, I always choose ActionScript 3.0 but it can be a little bit tricky. I have tried using ActionScript 2.0 and I am pretty sure it is much more easier that ActionScript3.0 especially when you are encountering the coding part for actions such as playing and pausing the animation.

The timeline is important for you if you want to make animation.By default if I have not mistaken ,it is 3 frames per second. You see, you have to do some calculation to adjust your speed of your animation . The 3 frames per second means it takes 3 frames in one second. If you want to slow down the speed of your animation, you have to adjust it to 24 frames per second which can be done in the Timeline. Can you see below the timeline , there is a blue numbering.See Figure 3..
Figure 3
You can change the number according to the speed you desire
i)If you want to import images into Adobe Flash :
File > Import>Import to Stage/Library
* Importing to library( refer Figure 4) is better because it is saved in the library. Even if you accidentally deleted it in the stage, you can take it from the library again without troubling you to go through all those procedures again.

ii) You can also write text using the Text tool in the toolbox. To edit the text:
Text(in the main menu)>Font/Size/Styling/Align/Letter Spacing(choose what you want to edit)
iii)Try:
- Draw a rectangle using the rectangle tool
Figure 5
2)In the timeline , right click at 55 and insert keyframe. See the timeline in Figure 6.
Figure 6
3)Right click again at 15 , insert keyframe and move the rectangle that you have drawn up in the stage. Refer Figure 7.
Figure 7
See the differences between Figure 6 and Figure 7?
4) Right click again at 35 , insert keyframe and move the rectangle that you have drawn down in the stage. Refer Figure 8.

5) Press Ctrl +Enter(see what happens)
